The Best Gluten Free And Vegan Eats In The Twin Cities - The best restaurants to get delicious gluten free, vegan, and allergy-friendly food in and around the twin cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota!

I’ll be honest, seeing the increase in gluten free and vegan options in restaurants throughout Minneapolis and St. Paul over the last few years has made me very proud to be a Minnesotan!

Although the Midwest may be known for casseroles and cheese-stuffed burgers, it is clear we have grown far beyond our all-white-food roots.

What I enjoy the most is that the diversity in our cities can be easily seen the variety of the foods served!

Here’s what I know for sure: whether you live in the Twin Cities, or you’re just planning a visit, you want to eat the best food at the best restaurants. You also want restaurants that can accommodate your dietary restrictions or food allergies with ease!

For those of you with food allergies, there’s something you should know. I take my recommendations very seriously. As a Minnesota girl with a laundry list of allergies, I say with confidence that I wouldn’t tell you to eat here if I didn’t believe they could accommodate you – with a smile!

One of the things I love most about this list is that it includes such a wide variety of options. From typical American comfort food to South American to Mediterranean – if you have a craving, there is a restaurant for you!

Why Gluten Free and Vegan?

My list is focused on restaurants that serve gluten free and vegan options in Minneapolis and St. Paul. That is because finding gluten free options these days really isn’t too hard but when you also need to eat a vegan diet, it can be really difficult!

Although I would not call myself a vegan, I do believe in eating a mostly plant based diet and being conscious of my own health and the health of our planet. I also love supporting restaurants that make an effort to cater to the needs of ALL their customers.
